Infor Data Fabric Connector

The Infor Data Fabric connector is only suitable for Infor Public Sector applications hosted on “inforgov”. If your Infor application is hosted on “inforcloudsuite”, please use the Infor Data Lake connector. 

To connect to Infor Data Fabric data, you need an ION API file. This file contains the authorization credentials used by Precog to access the API.

  1. Log in to your Infor ION API application through ION Desk. You will need to have the role of IONAPI-Administrator.

  2. Select Authorized Apps. Click on the plus icon to add a new app (non-Infor authorized application). Name the app “Precog” and use “Precog ION API File” for the description. Select the Backend Service type and then save the new app.

  3. From the Authorized Apps menu, open the new Precog application. Click on the Download Credentials button to open a dialog box. Select Create Service Account. In the User Name field, select your user name from the type-ahead list. Click on “Download Credentials”. Save this file to a safe and secure location. You will upload this file in the Precog connector configuration form.

Infor does not offer “Variation Handling” for Data Fabric data.
